Card Making With Hessian

Over the past few months I have started to dabble in card making. I have tried so hard to avoid adding a new craft to my already bulging list! The end to my resistance was an invitation to a Stampin' Up party. I am hooked! So that it doesn't get out of control and all consuming I promised myself that I would do two things.
  1. Use my stash.
  2. Combine my other craft loves with card making.
Here are my first cards using items from my stash.

In the card to the right I turned the flower bunch upside down and stamped them to look like fireworks.

From the stash:
  1. Corrugated recycled card from ten years ago!
  2. Hessian from my hessian stash (I've got far to much of this!).
  3. Stamp set: Best of Everything (Stampin' Up!), It's Your Birthday (Stampin' Up!)
  4. Ink pads: Stampin' Up! Poppy Parade In Colour 2010 - 2012), Daffodil Delight, Pacific Point, Old Olive
  5. Punches and Dies: Scallop, Curly label and circle

  1. These are great! I've got homemade cards on my to-do lists too - and lots and lots of little things that would be perfect for using up...
