Tot School

Chook 31 months, Strawberry and Ooffa 14 months

What a great week we have had! Full of fun, play and lots of learning. I took a different approach to planning this week and it may be a winner! I planned around what 14 month old babies would enjoy and thought of ways it could be extended for Chook. However, Chook was so happy getting in there with what was already going on that I haven't had to extend any activities yet!

We built block towers.

We made Pretend Houses with some sheets and these climbing frames.

Add a box for a tunnel.

Balloon Cluster Fun. A favourite of Chook's!

We sang action rhymes.

Hold your child under the arms and bounce them on your knees. On the last line seperate your knees and down they go. They love it!

I went down town
To get some butter
When I got there
I fell down the gutter!

Alley, Alley, Oh!
(Based on Jackie Silberg rhyme from More Games to Play With Toddlers)

Alley, alley, oh! Round and round we go. (Spin on the spot). Repeat.

Alley, alley, I! Flying through the sky. (Fly like a plane). Repeat.

Alley, alley, e. Swimming through the sea. (Pretend your swimming). Repeat.

Plus Toy Rotation #1.
