Wow, I've just realised another awesome use of Pinterest.
There are so many fabulous ideas and resources 'out there' on the web, not enough hours in the day and lots and lots of Pinterest fans. There is no way that one person alone could discover and pin everything that's on the web around their interest. But through Pinterest you can become a contributor on a board or create a board that you allow others to contribute to!
For example, I am a contributor on a board called A Toddler's World. Jode from Mummy Musings and Mayhem set this board up and then invited a few people along to contribute to the board as well. So instead of just following the board I can pin relevant ideas to this board. It also appears in my Profile as one of my boards.
You could easily set one up by inviting interest through your blog for a board you have in mind. Have people comment on your post and make sure they leave their email address. You then contact them through email, ask them for their Pinterest user name and then add them as a contributor to the board. You could also do the invite through Facebook.
